HGV Schwaigern visits ahk Service & Solutions GmbH: 20 Years of Innovation and Precision Engineering

As part of the “UvO – Unternehmen vor Ort” (Companies on Site) series organized by the HGV Schwaigern, we had the pleasure of welcoming numerous guests from local businesses, the city council, and administration to our facility in Schwaigern on November 9, 2025.

In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we offered our visitors an exciting look behind the scenes at ahk Service & Solutions GmbH. Since 2005, our family-owned company has been developing and building high-precision coating and drying systems primarily for the electronics, PCB, and medical device industries. Over time, we have also expanded into bakery and confectionery machinery as well as pet food production, where our expertise in automation and process engineering ensures tailor-made solutions for every need.

A highlight of the day was the keynote presentation on the use of artificial intelligence in mechanical engineering, showing how digital tools can simplify complex processes and make technical know-how more accessible across the organization. Using VR headsets, visitors could virtually explore, dismantle, and reassemble machines from different perspectives, technology that inspires both curiosity and innovation.

During the guided factory tour, our guests experienced what defines us most: modern bakery machines and retrofit solutions for the baking industry, built with precision and care, down to the gram of each roll produced.

The afternoon ended on a delicious note with freshly baked rolls from our in-house production line, closing an inspiring and personal day full of insights, technology, and good conversations.
